FSA is a not for profit counseling center serving people of any age from Vigo and surrounding Indiana-Illinois counties.
Founded in 1882, our guiding purpose is to strengthen and preserve family life through programs of counseling, education for family living and client advocacy.
Family violence, divorce, depression, relationship problems and child custody are typical problems we address.
Some things to keep in mind while in therapy
- Be honest
- Be on time
- Be active in session
- You get out of therapy what you put into it.
- Your therapist is here to help you do the work, not to do it for you.
- Put into practice at home what you learn in therapy.
- Change begins when you begin to do things differently.
- Progress means hard work
- Things sometimes get worse before getting better as you learn about yourself - that's ok.
