
Need Counseling?
As a client you have the right:
- to be treated regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, handicap, sexual preference, union or political affiliation.
- to be treated by qualified therapists or interns, all of whom are professionally supervised.
- to participate in planning your treatment.
- to not have a treatment imposed upon you unless the right to refuse has
been abridged by court order and full documentation of this is in the chart.
- to confidentiality according to state law and the professional code of ethics,
- to know the exceptions to state law (for a complete explanation, please request our pamphlet regarding privacy practices)
- to review your record in the presence of a therapist and have it sent to other professionals at your request.
- to file a grievance if dissatisfied with treatment.
